Unfortunately due to the dull gloomy weather a couple of our solar powered broadband stations have had battery performance issues which has caused a degradation of services in some areas.

We have installed the latest new generation deep cycled batteries at affected stations. This task was completed by 6pm on Monday night.

To our knowledge everyone is online and back up to speed.

Our standby chopper pilot is a bit disappointed as he was not needed as the local landowners were very supportive in helping us to get to the affected broadband stations.

We have unfortunately been victims of  ongoing Chorus Fibre Feed connectivity issues. Ourselves and other end-users on Corporate Enterprise grade connections  have been widely affected including supermarkets South Island wide (see story in ODT)

Despite our continuous logging of faults to our wholesale fibre provider about our issues, these have fallen on deaf ears.

We have gone to a temporary alternative connection as an interim fix.
